im just saying mine served for the marine core. and its lifted and big tank of gas 4×4. and it has a canvas in the back..was this truck an officers truck? or a base truck?

Thanks.:) The engine is a Silver Diamond 220 six cyl. 3 on the tree. It’s a ‘53 for sure. The twin window cab was in pruduction from 1950-1954. 1955 R went to the big back window as well as larger side windows. Same cab as 1956 S series which had a change in grill and hood design. This truck served the USMC from ‘53-’60. CA School district ‘60-’72. Dad and I since ‘72.
