I wanna get a Chevy z71 truck in its late 90's
Mostly street but it needs to make it through mud
I also live in Colorado so theres allota moutains, i need acceleration
I want it sittin high at LEAST 35's
Whats the recommended lift and tires for this truck??
How well will it do? Durability and Power?
I sall a 94 k1500 chevy w/6" tuff country susp on 35 mud terrains and i liked it better than any other chevy
Whats you opinion on this truck???
Whats the average cost for the lift and tires??
98 GMC sierra 6" superlift susp. lift 35 toyo open country MTs
Whats your opinion on this truck??
Would a newer chevy be more reliable, what year??
Thank yall i need all the help i can get!!!
if you can try to get at least a 2000. these are very nice driving and the 5.3 litre is very impressive. i put a 6" lift with 35's of course it all depends on cost as to what you buy. chrome wheels are more expensive but a LOT easier to take care of(no polishing n buffing) tires the same the better known the name the more money. i love my toyo's, quiet and excellent treadlife. you can expect to spend about 3 thousand bucks average.

my opinion? if you want a truck get a dodge ram, they are more reliable than a ford or chevy/gmc
and i would rather buy brand new and do all the customizing myself, its more fun, and you are creating the truck exactly the way you want it, not buy ing someone elses ideas and problems

I WOULD SAY 6-8" BECAUSE THE TIRES SHOULD FIT WELL.
ALSO IT SHOULDN'T EFFECT YOUR POWER TOO MUCH, YOU MIGHT HAVE TO REGEAR IT.
I AM GOING TO GET A NEW CHEVY TRUCK BECAUSE I DRIVE ALOT, AND I WANT ONE WITH A WARRANTY, BUT I THINK THE WARRANTY IS VOIDED WITH A LIFT KIT.
I MEAN IF YOU CAN WORK ON THE TRUCK YOURSELF, YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM. WE HAVE A 92 Z71 EXTENDED WE HAVE HAD IT SINCE 92 AND IT HAS BEEN VERY RELIABLE, BUT WE TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF OUR VEHICLES, BUT ANYTHING THAT THAT HAS GONE WRONG WITH IT, WE HAVE SIMPLY FIXED OUR SELVES.
BUT GOOD LUCK BRO.
