My truck has a manual transition from 2wd to 4wd, so it isn't a solenoid or anything like the fancy computer stuff new models have. I am stuck in 4 hi. As far as I know I do not have manual hubs. Any suggestions?
switch the gears back and forth between forward and reverse while pushing on the shifter, it is probably just going hard because there is still a load on the drivetrain.
