want to know what its worth and is it rare truck for its time

Price depends on the condition. Its not a rare vehicle, GM built thousands of them, and they came with either an inline 6 or a 350 V8. Good looking trucks, though. If its in top condition, and it has some 'extras' (like a fancy trim package, etc.) it might go for 10-12 grand, but it could be valued as low as a few hundred, if its in rough shape.
