want to know what its worth and is it rare truck for its time

Price depends on the condition. Its not a rare vehicle, GM built thousands of them, and they came with either an inline 6 or a 350 V8. Good looking trucks, though. If its in top condition, and it has some 'extras' (like a fancy trim package, etc.) it might go for 10-12 grand, but it could be valued as low as a few hundred, if its in rough shape.

How can I "unfreeze" air brakes on a 1969 GMC 8900 truck? I can have the truck free if I can move it. thanks.

I have access to a GMC/Chevy truck with Dual Axels that is very heavy duty but the rear brakes are frozen as it has sat for 10 years. The diesel motor fires right up. I can have the truck free if I can move it. I plan to use it to transport my Gradall fork lift. What tools should I bring to check and fix the brakes? I'm thinking air compressor, impact guns etc. Any advise to troubleshoot is appreciated as it is a 3 hour drive to get the truck.
