pros and cons is this the best diesel truck out there

well the 07 classics are late production 06 trucks that never got sold, so they made them 07s. as far as the duramax diesel, by far the toughest light truck diesel on the market, pair that with an allison transmission and its a hard combo to beat. the fuel economy isnt that great but its very consistent, youll get the same mpg unloaded on the hwy as you will pulling a shcool bus across the US. been a transmission repair tech at a GM dealership for 6yrs and have yet to repair an allison with the exception of a few park/neutral switches for water intrusion

how do i know if my 69 chevy is a cst?

The CST has all the options. Does it have a big block engine? It should have. A very few did come with a 350. The way to tell is to check the numbers and letters on the front (passenger side) of the engine. You will need to find someone that has a code book, or you can purchase your own from MSA-1. Do a search on yahoo for this book, and you will find how to buy it. It cost about $18, but is well worth it. You can use it to de-code every part on the engine. There should also be a tag on the door jam, but it doesn't really tell you much. Back then, (before they started using the numbers on the dash that you see from outside the windshield), the only way to tell was by the engine numbers, and if it had all the options.

Any places on yahoo to list trucks for sale?

I have a 72 Chevy Cheyenne Super Truck (classic) I want to sell. Is there a site on yahoo to list vehicles and things for sale? If so, how do I find it?
This is a pickup that I have for sale. Has a 350 v8 automatic transmission , tilt steering, power brakes, power steering, a/c . Extra rebuilt motor for extra price. For the truck $3500 includes motor that is working and just passed emmissions. Extra motor is completely rebuilt, high powered 350 listed at @ 2,000 in great shape outside, inside needs new upholstery . Once to a full restore, worth 15 to 20 thous. Great rig as is, but I have no time to do restoring. Need only a great working van for my job. E mail me asap here and if interested, we can talk by phone.

Depending where you live, Craigslist.com can be a great place to see a vehicle, and it's free.

There are sites that deal in classic vehicles for sale. Do a Yahoo search for "classic cars for sale'.
